Now there is an opportunity to apply for a permanent position at the Psychological Clinic for Maternal and Child Health (MBHV) - an opportunity that rarely arises! We are looking for a psychologist for our southern county area, based in Hallsberg, with the possibility to work part of the week from Örebro. The Psychological Clinic for Maternal and Child Health is a county-wide operation with three regional clinics and a clinic in Örebro.

The unit offers psychological services to pregnant/expectant parents and parents with children aged 0-6 years. The goals are to promote mental health and prevent mental illness by providing early interventions during pregnancy, infancy, and preschool years, as well as disseminating psychological knowledge about parenthood, parenting, and child development in the county. The starting point is a salutogenic approach where protective factors are strengthened through high accessibility with early and brief interventions.

The work is very varied! The position includes consulting with midwives and child health nurses in groups and individually, collaborating in child health teams together with the county's preschools, as well as assessments, support, and treatment of expectant parents, parents, and children aged 0-6 years who express a need for help and/or are referred by midwifery clinics and child health centers.

The Psychological Clinic MBHV consists of a group of experienced psychologists who meet regularly for staff meetings, supervision, thematic meetings, and training. The work involves travel and requires a driver's license. The workplace in Hallsberg is centrally located at the Family Center, and the clinic in Örebro is also centrally located. Working as a psychologist within maternal and child health is a county assignment, which means that the assignment may be moved to other county areas depending on the needs of the operation.

Licensed psychologist. A requirement is good knowledge of speaking and writing Swedish. A B driver's license is required for the position.

Knowledge about young children and their development is an advantage, as well as experience in therapeutic and consultative work directed at parents and professionals with a salutogenic health-promoting approach. The greatest emphasis is placed on personal qualities such as a positive and energetic attitude towards work, ability to collaborate, initiative, flexibility, and independent organizational skills.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
